Evaluating the impact of your website: A guide for CGIAR centers to evaluate the usage, usability and usefulness of their websit
This document is the first step towards the creation of an easy-to-use guide for evaluating the impact of websites. Customized especially for CGIAR websites, the guide’s format is designed around the 3 Us approach: assessing the Usage, Usability and Usefulness of a website and its content. For each area it provides a background to the evaluation process in the ‘The Theory’ section, and guidelines on how to apply that knowledge in ‘Putting it into Practice’; the latter also provides practical examples. This guide is not a technical guide, but aims to bring people with communications and information management expertise together with those who have the technical expertise in a common platform and using common language for planning and evaluating websites.
